Imagine Earth without its moon — no tides, no rhythms, no light to guide us in the dark. In Greenwich, where the Prime Meridian marks the line from which the world measures time and distance, I stood beneath Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon. As people watched and observed in wonder and silent contemplation, a quiet contradiction occurred to me - how we revere distant celestial bodies while too often neglecting the living planet beneath our feet. This seven-meter sculpture was created with detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface and an immersive soundscape. It was displayed in the historic Old Royal Naval College from December 2022, to February 2023.
